First of all, I want to thank each and every one of you who have read any of my previous blog posts, liked or commented on a picture on my social media.
I was so nervous getting back into my little blog and posting pictures on social media but the support I have received has been great!
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have 1,000’s of people messaging me but I don’t need 1,000’s I am quiet happy with the lovely few that are going out of there way to show me support.
So thank you all😘
Now let’s get down to business!
This week for try it Tuesday I want to tell you all something that I have actually been using for a while. The Bare Minerals Powder Foundation.
ersonally I never trusted a Powder Foundation because I didn't think it would give me enough coverage, I just thought it would have been too light and natural.
I needed a new day time Foundation so I picked mine up in Work to see what all the fuss was about.. yes curiosity got the better of me! I am super pale so the shade I picked up was "Fairly Light."
There is also a brush that you can buy but I have loads of similar brushes so I didn't bother picking that up!
I moisturized my face with the Image prevention plus daily Matte moisturizer. I personally don't like my face extremely shiny so I love the fact that this moisturizer has a Matte finish, it also has an SPF of 32 and smells really nice. I picked mine up in The Wexford Skin Clinic.
I can't remember exactly how much it was but for more information on Image products pop over to The Wexford Skin Clinic's Website, You can find that Here.
Next I primed my face with a couple of sprite of the P.S Primer Water. It’s a hydrating primer that feels light on the face and it’s super affordable (about €4!), I picked mine up in Penneys in Wexford.
To apply the foundation I just tapped a small amount into the lid of the pot and then dipped my brush into the powder.
I then tapped off the excess powder off my makeup brush, because this foundation is a loose powder I didn’t want to get it all over my clothes so I would recommend tapping off the excess!!
I applied the powder in circular motions onto my face and then again over the same areas to build up coverage.
I have to say that Until I had tried this product I didn’t really think it would offer me enough coverage but now that I have tried and tested it I can honestly say that this Powder Foundation really can offer a lovely coverage without looking cakey.
So after using the Bare Minerals Powder Foundation a couple of times I can safely say that I really like this product. It feels so nice on the skin and when I ware a liquid foundation during the day it now feels heavy because I am so use to wearing my powder foundation.
This powder foundation offers a light coverage but if you want to build it up you can by adding a little more product. I haven’t found it to be cakey.
I am a huge lover of full coverage foundation for night time sooo I haven’t used this foundation for when I’m “out out!” But who knows, I might pick up a darker shade and try it out!
There are so many different shades in the range along with other products too.
For more information feel free to message me on any of my social media and I will do my best to help you out.
If it’s a shade your looking for then I would recommend popping into your nearest stockist and get matched up, that way you won’t get stuck with the wrong shade (we have all been there!)
Thanks for reading,
