So last week I attended the Waxpert Training up in Dun Laoghaire.
For those of you who don’t know what Waxperts is, it’s a waxing brand that offers a pain free wax for clients. They offer a variety of waxing products along with the proper training on how to use these products for the different areas on the body.
Waxperts do require a waxing qualification to do the training. All you have to do is email them on a picture of your waxing certificate and then they will book you in for the training.
Waxperts has been a brand that I have wanted to work with for years and I had priced the training course last year but just never got around to booking in as I was already doing so many courses!
I was lucky enough for Work to send me on this training. I was absolutely delighted when they told me I was going. Once I was finished the current course I am doing, I was hoping to book myself in for the training but the fact that I get the opportunity to do it a little earlier is even better!
On Tuesday morning myself along with my lovely model Amy (hiii Amy!!🖖🏼) headed up to Dun Laoghaire.
The training started at 10am but we had to arrive a little early to fill out some forms etc. For once myself and Amy were early! We are never early!!
The training started off going through the variety of products that the brand has to offer and then we moved onto the fun part, waxing.
I actually love waxing, it’s one of my favorite treatments to do as a Beauty Therapist so I was really excited to get started.
Before waxing each area on our model, a demo was performed by the waxpert trainer and then it was our turn.
To be honest I found the trainers amazing. They were so patient, helpful and full of advice.
I am left handed so I am even more awkward than the normal person but after every demo The trainer went over 1 or 2 other methods that previous left handed waxers had used and was at my beck and call until I found what worked for me.
The training ended at 4.30pm but the time flew by. I really enjoyed every minute and skipped down the street after I got my certificate.
As I mentioned before, I have wanted to do this training for so long and now that I have done the training I am only sorry I didn’t do it sooner.
The course is so in-depth, every aspect and ares of waxing is covered in detail and the help and support for the trainers is second to none.
I walked into Waxperts with doubt in my mind about my ability to wax clients.
Normal waxing (eyebrows, legs, underarms) I was ok with but I knew my advance waxing skills weren’t great and to be honest I didn’t feel comfortable carrying out intimate waxing treatments.
I have previously trained in advanced waxing but I just didn’t feel confident performing the treatments because I knew I wasn’t good enough to.
But thanks to Waxperts, that has now changed!!!
I walked out of Waxperts feeling so confident in my waxing ability. “I can do this!!”
I am now ready to take on the world of waxing and can’t wait to get stuck in! Excuse the pun!
I personally thought the Waxpert training was amazing.
I would highly recommend the course. It’s so detailed and the trainers can’t help you enough. No question is silly and they have no problem suggesting ways to help you improve as a professional waxer.
My model Amy, who is also a Beauty Therapist was really impressed with the training too and found it really good.
If you are thinking of doing the Waxpert training, my one piece of advice would be.. Do it!! I’m only sorry I didn’t do it sooner!
If your looking for some information on the Waxpert training just google Waxperts and there website will come up. It gives you all the information you need.
