Working my way to the top but enjoying the fails along the way!
Author: Joanne Dunne
Who would have thought that I would have been enrolling myself to become a beautician?? Not me. After studying business for four years, I really had not one clue what I was going to do next. I decided to study business because I liked the subject not because I wanted to work in that industry. I didn't want to go to college, I didn't know what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Who does at 18?? I come from a family run pub in a rural area and if I didn't go to college my mam was making me work there.. even more than I already was so I decided to look into some college courses. I loved everything about my business course. My class mates, the college itself, the lecturers and even the subjects. I never felt like I fitted in when I was in secondary school, I suppose having dyslexia and an over bite didn't help matters. I couldn't spell to save myself and my confidence was low but college was a completely different story, I came into my own.
After four years of business, coming out with a degree was a big thing for me. I never thought that it was something I could have achieved but I did so it left me thinking what else I could do? What was next?
Heres to me, my journey, how far I have come and how far I will go.
